Let's read the Holy Quran!!

Alhamdulillah..praise be to Allah for making today as a very wonderful day! (^_^) Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah cuz we are still breathing in the holy month of Ramadhan (^_^) Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah for making us as muslim today and forever, insyaAllah (^_^)...Alhamdulillah..all praises to Allah..

hmm..today i have a very interesting topic to be shared, insyaAllah..I'll start with a story..

there was a guy, a very pious guy..one night, he woke up and did night prayer and he was able to finish the whole Quran in his tahajud prayer..so, the next day, he went to see his teacher and he told the teacher about that. When the teacher heard about it, he asked this guy to do the same thing again tonight but read the Holy Quran with the feeling that the teacher was watching him. This guy did it..so, the next day, he went to meet the teacher again and he told his teacher that he was only able to finish about half of the Quran..again, the teacher asked this guy to do the same that night but recite the verses of the Holy Quran with the feeling that the companions(sahabah) were watching him. This guy followed what the teacher asked him and now he was only manage to finish about one juzu' of the Quran..then he told his teacher and again the teacher asked him to read the Holy Quran in his prayer with the feeling that Prophet Muhammad s.a.w was watching him..so, the thing went on and he managed to finish only one surah from the Quran and finally his teacher asked him to read the Quran with the feeling that Allah was watching him..so he did it and as the result, he was unable to finish even Al-Fatihah..he stopped after he read the fifth verse of Al-Fatihah which is

"It is You we worship and You we ask for help."

and the teacher told this guy.."now,you are more qualified to be my teacher than me myself,"

just now, Alhamdulillah, I started tadarus (reciting Al-Quran together) with my roommate..things is going very well..but honestly, when I was reciting the holy Quran with my friend, I'll be more careful than when I recite it alone...why? because honestly, I will feel ashamed if my friend corrects my recitation..actually, it's not something to be ashamed of because everyday we are learning and we can only learn when we do a mistake. But my main point here is that, why do we have to be careful only when we read in front of our friend but not when we are alone? Is it because we think that nobody will know that we do a mistake when we read alone? That is the problem..we tend to forget that Allah is always watching us, He hears every single thing that we say and even the things that we think..Allah will know..so, let's recite the Quran carefully with the correct tajwid no matter when we are alone or in front of our friend..

i just wrote the first point that I want to share which is read the Holy Quran with the feeling of God-presence..and the second point is sometimes the student can be better than the teacher..so, whatever we do in our life, always follow what the teachers told us (as long as it is in line with shari'ah) and insyaAllah we can be even better than them..I'm not saying that we should compete with our teacher but we should always do our best in every single thing that we involve in..and of course if we become a better person, our teachers will be proud of us..insyaAllah..

by the way..i really hope that you get my point..i'm actually practicing for my MUET the day after tomorrow so that's why i'm writing in english..and i believe the vocabulary that i used is simple and easy to be understood..

last from me..let's increase the quality and the quantity of our ibadah in this holy month..grab as much rewards as we can..it's once in a year man!! SO, LET'S DO IT!! EAT LESS, THINK MORE, DO MORE!!!

I Think of You

When the seasons change, in the monsoon rain,
When a newborn cries, in his mother’s eyes,
I think of You…
Miracles are everyday,
The moon will come, as the sun will fade,
Forever this way….
When the seasons change, in the monsoon rain,
When a newborn cries, in his mother’s eyes,
I think of You…I think of You..
SubhanaAllah…
A seed that grows, from a tiny shell..
Becomes a tree, feeding you and me..
Here for our need..

Part of I think of You lyrics by Mesut Kurtis feat Irfan Makki..

For me, it’s a very nice song, making me appreciate the miracles happen around me..yes, everything is a miracle, you are able to walk, able to talk, able to smell, able to breath, you can feel pain, you can feel love, those are miracles! No one can create exactly like that except HIM! SubhanaAllah!

the scenery that i love the most, waterfall!!

Look around us and feel the greatness of The Creator…look at the sky, you will feel He is very close to you. Seriously! Just try and feel the calmness! (^_^) always remember Allah in every second and every breath that we have, so that Allah will always remember us, insyaAllah

“Maka ingatlah kepadaKu, Aku pun akan ingat kepadamu…” (2:152)

Wah!! Very sweettt!!! Isn’t it?? He is the most Gracious and the Most Merciful. His love cannot be compared with anyone else. So, let’s grab the love! Find His love! And Allah will help the people who want to seek for His love!! Believe it!! SubhanaAllah, Alhamdulillah, LailahaillAllah, Allahuakbar!! May Allah bless us..

UNtiTLed..(x tau nak bg tjk pe)

The best thing that I learnt this week was that if you want to see how was your attitude when you were a child, just look at your younger sister or younger brother..well, i don’t know whether this theory is true or not bcuz it’s my own theory and my own opinion..so, it can be wrong or maybe true! Whatever it is, it’s not the main thing that I want to share here..

Let’s focus on the main topic. Yesterday, I was going back to UIA from my hometown. Like usual, I took a bus at night and arrived KL at about 5.oo a.m. I had to ride another bus to go to UIA. When I arrived at KL Sentral, I went to the bus station. Only I with an unknown guy were waiting for the bus. I thought there were not many people bcuz it was too early but then, I read a notice saying that the bus station moved to the other place..which was quite far from the first place. That’s explained why no people there. So, we were waiting for nothing! But I was not really sure about that so I just go without telling the guy about the notice. And I feel guilty until now for not telling him cuz I didn’t know what happen to him after that, maybe he took a taxi, or maybe he read the notice, I didn’t know….

The message that I want to tell you is, if you want to help someone, don’t think twice..just do it. But in my case, I don’t know, maybe because he was a stranger, no other people there and it was so early in the morning(not really early actually) so I was not brave enough to talk to him. Actually it happens a lot of time when I really want to help the people but my body doesn’t move making me feel bad about myself for not helping them. My ustaz told me that if you think before you do something, it means that the attitude is not yours. Just like my case just now, I want to help people but I think before I help the people which means that helping people is not my attitude or ‘akhlak’.

Jadi sahabat2, teman2, rakan2, adik2, kakak2, abang2…(tetibe je tukar b.M, sbb mood nak tls b.I dah hilang) mcm mne kte nak jadikan menolong orang tu atau pe2 je nilai2 yg bek sbg akhlak kita? Waktu kelas BTQ(basic themes of al-Quran), de orang tanye ustaz,

“cne klo kita x nak buat perbuatan baik tu sbb kte takut riak(menunjuk-nunjuk)? Boleh ke?”

Pastu, ustaz ana jawab pe? Jawapannya lebey krg cam ni la..

“klo kamu x buat sbb kamu takut riak, tu maknanya kamu mmg dah riak. Sbb cne kamu tahu kamu akan riak sdgkan kamu tak buat pun lagi bnde tu..klo sblm buat pun kamu kata kamu akan riak, maksudnya ble buat mmg comfirm la kamu riak..tp, better buat + riak, daripada tak buat + riak, sbb kamu buat ke atau x buat ke, kamu akan ttp riak gak,”

Dialog tu tlh ditokok tmbah oleh ana..tp isinya lbey krg la..balik pd soaln, cne nak tanam sikap mahmudah dalam diri is by practicing the virtues(walaupun takut riak)..practices make perfect!

Hari ni terasa cam dah terlebih pjg plak blog nih..pe2 pun ana harap penulisan ni sedikit sebanyak jd peringatan buat kita semua, insyaAllah..

CONFidENT..

What did I learn today? I guess it’s a very important lesson for everyone especially for the people who will work with people, I mean like teachers, doctors..they have to communicate with people not machine. So, when we are talking in front of others, when all the eyes are looking at us, how do we feel?? Very nervous right? It’s normal for a human being.

Today, 29 nov 2011, my group and I had to present our assignment. All of us were very nervous, from the beginning of the class till the end. But after presentation, we regret bcuz we didn’t do it very well. Why did it happen?? Bcuz we less prepared.

So, what I want to tell you here is that before doing any presentation, we should be prepared as best as we can, do a lot of practice to be confident when we are talking. Actually, it’s a part of learning, to be ashamed of our own mistakes, being nervous when talking in front of others, blank when we are talking, it’s all normal for the people who are still learning. So, we cannot blame ourselves if we fail in this presentation, cuz only when we fail, we’ll start to learn.

So, my dear friends, specially dedicated to my group members, there’s nothing much we can do about the presentation today. Just let it go, we still have another mark to score. So, La Tahzan..Allah wants us to learn how to present and to talk, so that’s why we learnt it today. We are in the stage of learning, so to do such mistakes is normal for us, cuz nobody was born to be perfect. (I really don’t know whether my grammar is correct or not)

Confidence is not something that we can get in a day or two, some people take years to be confident when talking in front others. It’s all depends on us, our own effort. What do we do to be confident in ourselves??

Remember one thing, Muslims are the best! so we must try our best to be the best. Allah looks into our effort, not the result that we get.

family, what do they mean to us?

Assalamualaikum w.b.t...
It's been a long time since I wrote my last post..actually, i got a message about something that make me stop writing here..but that is not the topic that i'm gonna share here..well today, i want to talk about family..

my family made up of 11 members, a very big family huh? but i love my family. i'm very thankful to Allah for giving me such a wonderful family. i have a loving mom, a responsible father, a brother, a sister, 4 younger sisters and two younger brothers. i'm the third. i feel very lucky for being the third cuz i have a complete set, brother, sister, younger brothers and younger sisters ^_^ I'm saying this cuz there's some people who wish they would have a brother, or a sister, but they just don't get even one. so Alhamdulillah, i have them...

but sometimes, we do not appreciate what had been given to us. we never care about them even they are in front of us, but once they're gone, we'll start to miss them, we'll start to appreciate them, only then we just realised that they are very precious in our life. we take granted of what we have.

one motivator asked me to hide my watch and try to draw it without looking at the watch. so, i started to imagine, how my watch look like but i can't see it clearly. i cannot draw my own watch even though i look at it everyday, every hours of my life. see! that's what we call take granted of something. we never really care about it until we really lost it.

so dearest friends, if we lost our watch, we can still buy the another one, maybe better than before, but if we lost our family, there's no one can replace them cuz they are one in a million! they are the people who have the most common genetic with us. so, let's appreciate our own family before it's too late, never take granted about this cuz no one can replace them. what do they mean to us? you yourself have the answer!

Islamic brotherhood : How beautiful it is...

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful..

Sometimes, people may say that they can live alone, they don't need anyone in this life but does they realized that people will never be alone, why?? Ok, let me give an easy example..can we exist in this world without our parents? Of course not! So, our parents are human right? Ok, another example, if there are no fishermen, can we eat the fish? Yes, we can, but we have to catch it by ourself and it's not easy to fish, only people who are expert in that thing can do it...

So, is there any place in this world that we'll be alone? I guess no, because no matter where we go, there are always people around us, we cannot avoid it. So, what should we do to survive? We have to know people around us. That's what Islam teach us! Ukhwah Islamiyyah..

The Believers Are Like Brothers To One Another;  So, Promote Peace And Reconciliation Among Them,

And Fear Allah, That You May Receive Mercy.
(Surah  49:  Ayah  10)

Why do we need people around us? Because, we are weak if  we are alone. Ok, I give you a situation. You are sleeping, then you hear 'azan', you know that Allah is calling you but you feel very sleepy and you want to continue sleeping. But then, your roommate tell you, “Let's pray..it's time to meet Allah, don't you miss Him?” When you hear this, will you be able to continue your sleep? Maybe some people will just ignore it but if we really love Allah, we'll wake up and take wudhu'.

Don't you see it? If we are alone, can we fight ourself? Our nafs? Or can we fight the devils that are always ask us to do bad things? Maybe we can survive, but for how long? Devils have a lot of ways to trick us. We cannot fight them alone, we have to work together..all for one and one for all!

That's why ukhwah is very important! And ukhwah is beautiful, very beautiful and meaningfull if it lead us to Allah's love. Friends, sahabat, saddiq, akhawat or anything alse we call them..all the people around us, they are very precious, so, let's appreciate people around us!

He Has Weak Faith Until That Person
Loves For His Brother What He Loves For Himself.

Oo Allah, forgive me....

In the name of Allah the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful

There's a guy boarding a bus, then he saw a cute little girl smiling to him...the guy smiled back to the little girl. He looked at the girl, up and down..he found that the girl didn't have leg..but the girl still can give him a bright smile. So, he thought, how fortunate he was..still have a pair of leg to walk, to run and to go everywhere..but he never say thanks to God for the leg, so he said, "Oh God, forgive me for not being thankful to You"

Then he went out from the bus, continue his journey..walking through a street..he saw a guy, few years younger than him was selling chocolates. He walked towards the guy..but the guy didn't talk to him..why? And finally, he realized that the guy couldn't talk. But, he still can work like others to search money for living. So, once again, he thought how fortunate he was for having a mouth and he could talk. For the second time, he asked forgiveness from Allah for not being thankful to Him. He said, "Oh God, forgive me"

After buying the chocolate, he continued walking..passing lot of people..and finally, he saw a group of children playing together. But, there's a child sitting alone at the left side. The guy walked towards the child and he smiled to him. He asked the child, "why don't you join them?". The child looked at him with gloomy face. "I'm sorry, I can't hear you". Now, the guy knew why the child didn't play with the other kids. Then, he thought back, how fortunate he was for having a pair of ears to hear. So, he said again, "Oh God, forgive me"

.....Sometimes, we never thought how fortunate we are, we can walk, we can talk, we can hear and we are healthy! There's a lot of people out there didn't have the abilities like that. But, how much did we say Alhamdulillah today? How much we feel grateful to Allah for giving us the opportunity to do what we want to do today? Oh Allah, forgive us for not being thankful..so, let say..ALHAMDULILLAH..

wallahualam..may this article gives some benefit to us..as a reminder for you and me..

Spinocerebellar degeneration disease

Hmm, it had been a long time since i didn't write my blog in english. So, now i want to write in english cuz i guess it's easier for me to explain it..cuz u know, scientific terms are not easy to be translated!

By looking at the title, u can guess the thing that i want to share here. I want to talk about a disease! Why? Juz read it..

Spinocerebellar degeneration disease is actually a type of inherited disease. It happens cuz the cerebellum (the red one) is degenerated so, the impulse cannot reach the muscle to move. From day to day, the person who suffer this disease lost the ability to move, to stand, to hold things and even to talk! Scary right? And the most scariest thing is that it doesn't have any cure (setakat ni la) So, be thankful to Allah cuz we're still healthy, we can talk, we can walk, we can do anything that we want to. Allhamdulillah! All praises to Allah!

Actually, I got the idea to write this aft I watch a japanese drama, one litre of tears. Maybe some of you know about this. It's a story about a girl who suffer this disease. At fiz, she couldn't accept it, but i donno how she could accept it cuz i didn't watch the whole story!

The best thing about this girl is that, she had a very high determination to live. Before she died, she wrote a lot of articles to help the people that suffer the same disease like her. She gave motivation to all those people to continue living as long as they could live. She contributed to the others.

And, actually, from the story, I can see how high a patient's hope towards a doc. They hope doc can cure their disease. But, actually, who cure the disease? No one can cure the disease except for Allah! He's the One who cure, human can make effort but the rest, only He decide. I believe that all the diseases have the medication, it juz dat we didn't found it yet.

So, the main point that I want to say is, be thankful if u r chosen as the one who'll be involved in health and sciences world. Who choose u? Allah is the one who choose you to be in that world. Doc, nurse, pharmacist, health consultant and anyone who work in the field, be thankful because Allah gives u opportunity to serve for the country. You got the chances to make a lot of good things! Help people, give them hope to live, it's very noble! Isn't it?

To all future doctors, our journey is still very, very long..we also never know whether we can be in that journey for the rest of our life or, maybe one day we might change our mind. Who knows? Or maybe, we will die before we can graduate. Only Allah know what will happen in the future. The only thing that we can do right now is that, we have to do our responsibilty which are :

1. Be a caliph (leader) "Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I will create a vicegerent on earth."...."(2:30)
2. Serve Allah "I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me" (51:56)

Being a caliph doesn't mean that we have to lead people. If we are able to lead ourselves toward goodness, it's so good. How do I relate this with being a doc? Ok, let's make it easy, we study hard to be a doc, but at the same time, we learn the islamic knowledge so that we can share it with the patients. We can't make the doc as our goal, but our aim is to attain the blessing from Allah by what? Being a doc..(actually, i'm reminding myself cuz right now i feel like super lazy to study..) InsyaAllah, aft this, I'll continue my work.

Sory, if u don't understand what i'm saying and also sorry for this broken english. I'm not very good in english. And one more thing, when I talk about doc as a noble job, it doesn't mean who work as engineer, teachers, farmer or anything else are not good. They are very good too! Everyone can be good if they can contribute something to others. Remember, we are very important in this community! Thanks for reading! Till then, take care n assalamualaikum

BEING A HUMAN...

being a human is not an easy thing...in this life nothing's easy...if we want to get something we have to work for it..we have to face many obstacles to achieve our dream..NO PAIN, NO GAIN! that's life..it's not a destination, it's a long journey..every problems that we face along the journey will teach us to be stronger and stronger. if we fail, we have to wake up..if we get lost, we have to start again..let by gone be by gone..a human that's never make a mistake actually never learn something new..

maybe sometime we asked ourselves, why this thing happened to me? why i have to do this? why. why and why..we keep asking ourselves but we never try to search the answer..we blame others but we never know maybe it was our mistake..we never know maybe that thing is good for us..maybe not now but in the future, we never know about that..always remember, Allah never burden us with something that we cannot accept it..Allah always know what's best for us..

i wrote this because i want to share my opinion, yesterday i asked myself, why i should study hard? why i should be hardworking? because i want to be a successful human..i want to make my parent proud of me..i want to contribute something to my family, community and also my country..i must do it! because that's life for..but never forget to pray and ask for Allah's help..no success without the bless from Him..
